It had been a long time since I'd seen Diane. At the Takasugi reunion in May, 2012, Diane made the trip even though she had just started a treatment. One would never know how she was really feeling, physically, because she would only talk about how great it was to see the cousins. At the BBQ at Ron's house, Diane really liked the genealogy chart and studied it a lot that day. She was very strong to make such a trip and engage in the reunion activities feeling the way she did physically. We were so grateful to be able to see her, hug her and let her know how much we enjoyed spending time with her. The memories of our reunion, of Diane, are in our minds and hearts forever. So sad that she won't be with us at our next reunion, but so thankful that she came to the one last year. Deepest condolences to Aunt Taeko and Cousins Bonnie, Doug and David. Love, Cousin Suzy
