Condolences

Condolence From: Ron and Alex Takasugi
Condolence: We were saddened by the news of cousin Diane's passing and offer our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
We will always cherish our memory of her from our last family reunion and her bravery then was an inspiration.
The news also brought back my earliest memories of our visits to Diane and her family on the family farm when we were kids.
Those were fun times and it was great having cousins living so close.

Condolence: We were so sad to hear of Diane's passing, but were very grateful that we had an opportunity to see her at the 2012 Takasugi reunion. We were in touch base briefly afterwards - so glad she had an opportunity to travel. She had a wonderful spirit.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Diane's passing. I met her at a quilting class about six years ago and loved her passion for the art. I occasionally stopped by WGH cafeteria and just chatted with her. She will be missed. Keep quilting in heaven Diane!

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn of Cousin Diane's passing. My sincere condolences to all of the family. My favorite memory of Cousin Diane was from maybe 35 years ago when she came over to our place and cooked up a batch of chocolate truffles. I'm not really into chocolate or sweets that much, but Diane's truffles were unbelievably delicious! I've never had any better ones before or since. Guess Diane really learned some good cooking skills at the Culinary Institute!

I also think it is so great that Diane was able to put so much effort into the Takasugi Reunion Cookbook that she passed out at the Boise reunion. Subsequently, Joyce and I went on a Deception Pass boat tour about a year ago in August 2012. We had a perfect day and I thought Diane looked better than she did at the reunion. Little did I know that it was the last time we'd see her in person.

I am so saddened by the loss of Diane. I just hope she is finally free of all her suffering and pain.

Love,

Cousin Rex & Joyce

Condolence: Diane was hands down the best boss I ever had. She had the vision to help create my current job for me. She both supported me and held me to a high standard. She doted on my daughter and made her feel special by making sure she always had her favorite things to eat. An amazing woman I am so proud to have known. Go in peace, Diane. You will be dearly missed.
