I am so sorry to learn of Cousin Diane's passing. My sincere condolences to all of the family. My favorite memory of Cousin Diane was from maybe 35 years ago when she came over to our place and cooked up a batch of chocolate truffles. I'm not really into chocolate or sweets that much, but Diane's truffles were unbelievably delicious! I've never had any better ones before or since. Guess Diane really learned some good cooking skills at the Culinary Institute! I also think it is so great that Diane was able to put so much effort into the Takasugi Reunion Cookbook that she passed out at the Boise reunion. Subsequently, Joyce and I went on a Deception Pass boat tour about a year ago in August 2012. We had a perfect day and I thought Diane looked better than she did at the reunion. Little did I know that it was the last time we'd see her in person. I am so saddened by the loss of Diane. I just hope she is finally free of all her suffering and pain. Love, Cousin Rex & Joyce
