My dearest friend Helen and Family, There are no words to tell you what a shock it was to hear of Dave's passing. Being as I had just seen you both within the last few weeks. I look back when we first met you both. HOG meeting of course. Who knows at what point a friendship starts up. It was as if we had already known you. Dave was such an out going person and so easy to talk with. As we got to know him better, finding out the depths of his personality. Always a smile on his face and enjoying life. You and Dave complemented each other. Always remember referring to Dave as a (kept) man:) Dave has left an impression on our lives. Our ride to Winthrop to spend the day with Kiwi and family is a good memory. Kiwi's camp after the Oyster Run, and of course the Burn Camp. Helen, you are blessed to have the best part of Dave, his children. There you will find strength. You will always have Dave with you, just in a different way. Just as he brought sunshine on the day we were remembering him, he will bring smiles and laughter to you with his memory. We love you, and will keep you and the kids in our thoughts and prayers.
