Condolence: This is for Bianca and Alan. Dad could not say enough about you and loved you both so much. He was so proud the day Alan graduated and was just as proud when Bianca brought his only grandchildren into this world. You both were there with him during the most turbulent times in his life and for that you always held an even more special place in his heart. He loved all of his children equally, but was always aware of the diverse circumstances under which we existed. You both make me so proud as you have embraced his vitality and determination and have overcome the odds. I have no doubt that you will both be very successful in you endeavors. Please know that I will always be your cheerleader.

Love always, your big sis,
Shelby

Condolence: This was such a great loss. I only had the oppurtunity to meet David once but it didnt take long to realize David was a terrific guy. I know David's kids very well(Bianca & Alan). I am married to their Aunt Sonia.
Life is short and not always fair. I wish all of you peace and comfort during this time. Lets never forget the lives David touched in such a positive way.
God Bless all of you & God Bless David.

Condolence: Where do I start. I was the first born, but that does not mean anything with regard to how much my dad loved his kids. He loved us all the same. We are each special in his eyes and he made us feel that way. Being first born only means that I am the oldest :) My father was an amazing man. He would do anything not only for those he loved but for friends of those he loved. His legacy will live on in his children, me, Alan, Bianca, Nicholas, Michael and Olivia. We will make him proud and will never forget what he has taught us.

Condolence: My dearest friend Helen and Family,
There are no words to tell you what a shock it was to hear of Dave's passing. Being as I had just seen you both within the last few weeks. I look back when we first met you both. HOG meeting of course. Who knows at what point a friendship starts up. It was as if we had already known you. Dave was such an out going person and so easy to talk with. As we got to know him better, finding out the depths of his personality. Always a smile on his face and enjoying life.
You and Dave complemented each other. Always remember referring to Dave as a (kept) man:) Dave has left an impression on our lives. Our ride to Winthrop to spend the day with Kiwi and family is a good memory. Kiwi's camp after the Oyster Run, and of course the Burn Camp. Helen, you are blessed to have the best part of Dave, his children. There you will find strength. You will always have Dave with you, just in a different way. Just as he brought sunshine on the day we were remembering him, he will bring smiles and laughter to you with his memory. We love you, and will keep you and the kids in our thoughts and prayers. We are here if you need anything.
In friendship, and much love.
Katie and Jon

Condolence: Helen and family,

I am so sorry for the untimely loss of your beautiful husband, father and friend. To me David was like a brother, he always gave me advice that was invaluable, to Millie he was a father when I was gone, and to Anne, a brother she never had. And then there was Oliver. He is so lucky to have had David in his life, even if for only one year, he will be richer in spirit and in life for the short time with David. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers and David will be in our hearts forever. Love always, Dan, Anne, Millicent, and Oliver.
