I knew Berry from several productions at WPH, and "1776" in Anacortes. He was always a real pleasure to work with, and, yes, I just cannot remember him without a wonderful smile. But I also knew him from a different event. My truck had broken down almost a hundred miles above the Canadian border. I needed a friend to help me go fetch it, and, God bless Berry, he was willing to spend the whole day to fetch it. We had a wonderful time that day for the mere price of gas and a wonderful lunch.
