I had many opportunities to work with Berry at the Whidbey Playhouse. I will always remember his big smile, his hearty laugh, and his quick wit. He was a fine actor too, though I think he really preferred working behind the scenes. The many hours he volunteered to the theater were deeply appreciated, and we will miss him. My condolences to Lu and the entire Meaux family.
