Condolence: I returned from visiting Lois Kay two days ago. She told me about this site, and I write this condolence both for her and me. We remembered family gatherings as children when we played around Granddaddy's store and the two houses behind it. Lorraine was the middle one of the three cousins on the Shipman side. We all went to UCLA and that is where Lorraine met Bob. Lorraine always played the piano at Christmas and whenever the family got together and there was a piano. Lois wanted to see Lorraine before she died and we thought about going up there on the train, but we never did. The last time we saw Lorraine was when she and Bob came to my mother's burial in Forest Lawn, CA.
Lois and I prayed for God's comfort on your family during the two days we were together, and we thanked God for the lives of Lorraine and Bob.

Condolence: Mary ~ I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences. I remember your mom and dad so very well from all the fun times we spent together in Redondo Beach and at the Knob Hill house. I also lost my mom last year and know how very painful it is to lose our moms. Please know that time will ease your sadness and loving memories will last forever. I am sending all of my thoughts, love, and positive energy your way. My thoughts and prayers go out to the rest of your family as well. Todd
