Condolences

Condolence From: Gary Wood
Condolence: I knew Mr. Jensen through his son Don, a Sigma Nu Fraternity Brother at WSU. I enjoyed pheasant hunting, and didn't have the money to afford a good shotgun. Don asked his dad if he could lend me a shotgun, which he did. A Model 870 Remington with a Oregon Myrtle Wood Custon stock. In the mean time, I had loaned Don my 1952 Chevy Two Door (what a classic car, yea right) while I was at WSU and Don was student teaching in Tacoma. After the year was out, Don called me and told me that in gratitude Mr. Jensen was "giving" me that shotgun. I have that shotgun today, in as perfect condition as the day that I first got it. I have never forgotten his generosity. Although I never met him, I had the greatest respect for him based on what Arnie and Don always said of him, and of course, his generosity to me.

Condolence: Dear Don & Family,
We were saddened to hear of your Dad's recent passing and send our love and deepest sympathy. He was certainly one who dedicated much to his community, family & friends and had quite an accomplished life. It is so fitting to pay tribute to him through the Brett Akio Jensen Memorial scholarship fund. Brett is there to welcome him and together they will continue to truly make a difference in others lives. Cherish the wonderful memories you've all shared together.

With our fond aloha,
Les, Donna, Reid, Kyle Hoshide & family
