Condolence From: Susan Mallams
Condolence: I was so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I have such fond of memories of him when he did the gardening for us at InterWest. He knew that he was part of our bank family and any time we had a potluck at the North OH branch, he was welcome. I often found him in the kitchen laughing with the girls and enjoying some good food! New tellers would often come and tell me there was some guy in the kitchen eating the food....and I'd take them and introduce them to your Dad and let them know he was part of us. Just a few weeks ago I saw him and he was telling us how good life was and how wonderful you kids were. You were his life and I never ran into him without him telling me how you were doing and how proud he was of you. Your Dad was a good guy with a big heart and a love for you that cannot be taken away due to his passing. It's a hard thing to lose someone so precious; I hope you feel the love and support of many who knew you through your Dad. ~Susan Mallams~

Condolence: Like so many of us here in this small community of Coupeville we were shocked and saddened to hear the news about Willy. We came to Whidbey in the early 70's just as Willy did and we have been friends ever since. I am so happy I was able to talk to him on Friday and as usual he had his great smile and humor. He will be missed. All of you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Diana and Shane

Condolence From: Roberta Piercy
Condolence: Jack & Jessy - please know that there are many of us in the Coupeville community who you don't know well, but through your father, know and care about you. Shock and sadness doesn't even begin to describe the feelings felt when we heard the news. He was such a good man and was obviously so very proud of you both. I often stopped to chat with him, due to common acquaintances and an interest in gardening, and the talk inevitably came around to you two and he would glow with pride. With children in the Coupeville schools ourselves, we have watched you grow into wonderful young adults - a reflection of your father's love for you. Our community has been rocked by his passing, but is rallying to support you through this difficult time. We hope this helps you and send our love and support as well. From Roberta, Don, Gini and Zack Piercy

Condolence From: Carol Harrison
Condolence: Jessy and Jack, I was deeply shocked and saddened over the news of your dad's death this past week-end. He was always so friendly when I saw him around town, and we would often talk about each of you. He was so proud of you, always wanted you to do your best, and believed you were both "good" kids -- which I agree with! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this exceedingly difficult time -- be thankful you have known a dad that truly loved you and showed it and I pray that you will find strength and comfort in that knowledge.
I regret that I cannot be at the memorial service on Saturday, but you will be held in my heart that day and in the days and weeks to come. Blessings, Carol Harrison

Condolence From: Brandy Kessler
Condolence: Jessy & Jack,
My heart and prayers go out to you and your family at this really tough time. I didn't have the privilege to get to know your Dad until last year. It was obvious of how much he loved you guys! I enjoyed our weekly meetings this year during football season. He'd bring me in a bag of cash to deposit into the senior parent account from the football games. Even though he didn't have to work the concession stand, just open and close it, we always saw him working that BBQ! His burgers were legendary!
Let the Coupeville community wrap you up in your arms. We are all here for you!
Best Wishes...
Mrs. Kessler
