Ruth L. Jacobson was granted her Angel Wings on October 11,2016 at home surrounded by loving family. Ruth was born on November 5,1921 in Wheelock North Dakota to Carl and Margaret Melland. Ruth had 8 siblings. She married the love of her lifetime Wilbert L Jacobson in 1940 and together raised 5 children Janet (Harland Kostek), Karen (Ron Zustiak), Peggy (Daryl Greenhalgh), Greg Jacobson (Kathy) and Vickie (John McCreless) Ruth was blessed with 22 Grand Children, 40 Great Grand Children and 17 Great Great Grand Children. Ruth was a Cosmetologist for many years. She taught at the Lynnwood Beauty School Before owning shops in Arlington WA and on Whidbey Island WA. She had a love for Basket Ball and Base Ball and spent countless hour watching the Horse arena full of Kids and Horses. Ruth loved to travel in the car: Long trips, Short trips, Trips to get Ice cream were her Favorite. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Whidbey Health Hospice Care.
