Obituary for Robert Michael "Big Bad Bob" Booth

Robert Michael "Big Bad Bob" Booth
On Wednesday, January 25th, Robert M Booth passed away after 67 years of life. Bob or “Big Bad Bob” as he was known to those closest to him lived a life full of respect for others, a fierce loyalty to those he loved, and a sacrificial attitude that he displayed at all times.

Bob had a deep love for Jesus and lived in respect and wonder of the love his Lord showed him throughout his life.

Bob was a Veteran of the Vietnam War who was proud of his country and displayed his patriotism happily, he was sure to always be thankful to and show respect for anyone he encountered who has served in the armed forces for this country.

He had retired from Island Hospital after a 30 year career in nursing. He is known by those he worked with as a highly compassionate man who gave freely and wholly to all around him.

He was survived by his wonderful wife Kathryn Booth, his children, Dulcy Booth, Chelsea Booth, and Sam and Sarah Booth, his grandchildren Jackson Booth and Zyhanne Cage, Henry Booth, Ellis Booth, and Griffin Booth.

The family will be holding a memorial service Saturday, February 4th at 2 pm. The memorial will be held at the park clubhouse next to 4366 Children’s Avenue, Oak Harbor.
