Condolence: We were so sad to read about Rays passing. He is and always will be one "special" friend. We were truly "blessed" to have him as a friend. He was more than a brother!

Even though our lives drifted apart as we grew older, we always had a special bond. Whether we were shooting (just arrows) at that "Big Indian" at the circle or crashing (or maybe passing-out) on my mom's front-room couch, or going on a midnight raid for ice-cream at Swenson's, we always enjoyed each others company. Those late night trips to Hollywood (Ray & Randy) were always an experience. What were we thinking?

We were able to visit Ray & Janet a few years back and I remember sitting on his front porch enjoying the moment and thanking him for letting us share his "heaven". After reflecting for a second, Ray responded, "it is isn't it". We were only able to visit for a couple of days but it was really memorable and enjoyable.

Thank you Janet for being such a "good" person to Ray. I can say that because Ray expressed to me (repeatedly) that he was so "blessed" that you put up with him. I could see that he loved you so much, and your love for him was also so obvious.

Will miss you Ray, but you will be always be in our hearts.

We love you..........we will share heaven again brother!

Condolence: I met Ray and Janet on one of Ray's extended stays in the CICU a Sacred Heart in Spokane. I had the honor and privilege to watch over Ray on a fair amount of night shifts as his critical care nurse. I got to know many of you (family) through his stories. No matter how crappy he felt, he always had that youthful twinkle in his eyes when he would tell his stories (I could tell he was a real character!) Ray was genuine and kind who repeatedly would tell me how grateful he was to have gotten another chance at life and love with Janet. When Janet and Ray were together, their bond was palpable. I am very thankful that Ray has deeply enriched my life, and I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with all of you.

Condolence: Dear Janet and family,
It was a pleasure to have known Ray these very short years. Ray was a gentle and courageous man. He was a fearce fighter. I also believe he was God fearing and therefore I hope we will meet again in the here after.
In all of life it was a brief but rewarding acquaintance with Ray and Janet. I will miss him..
Janet was a most devoted wife if I ever saw one.
God Bless you and Rays families Janet.

Condolence: I met Ray and Janet a few years back. I was blessed to be his home infusion nurse. It did not take me long to see what I was working with. A dear man with a big problem and a soul of an Angel and his sweet loving wife who was sharp as a tack and a fierce as a bull dog when it came to Ray. WHAT A TEAM !
I fell in love with both of them. I will remember Ray fondly, his kindness his humor, just how easy it was to be around him even under toughest of circumstances . This was a great fight. Well done you two. And bless you

Condolence: Ray was a long-time friend first of Randy's then mine. He was always Mr. Entertainment, funny, happy, loving, endearing, and we both loved him very much.
God blessed us so much with getting to have Ray in our lives during these very precious past few years, and I thank Him for that.
We look forward to being with him again one day in Heaven.
Love,
Randy & Jill
