Penny Williams, devoted wife and loving mother went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 17th from complications of heart surgery. Penny was born in Seattle on August 24, 1943 to Richard Geraghty and Wilna Wilcox. Raised in Monterey Park, CA, Penny spent her youth active in Drum & Bugle Corp’s. They moved to Washington in 1964 eventually settling in Friday Harbor. They had many businesses including Whitey’s Food Center and Lakedale Campground. During this time, Penny became involved in showing Appaloosa horses, earning many national and world championships. Penny and Whitey loved a new adventure and moved often to different locations including Forest Grove, OR, Winthrop and Sedro Woolley, operating many other successful businesses including Trinity Farms and Winthrop Mini Storage. They moved back in April 2014 to their favorite place, Friday Harbor.

Penny was a strong woman with strong beliefs. She held herself to a high standard of ethics and was very generous to those around her. She loved all animals, a clean home and was a very devoted Christian. Her knowledge of the Bible surpassed all.
