Nikki Janine  Smith
NIKKI JANINE SMITH, RN, age 46, of Oak Harbor, Washington, longtime former resident of Midwest City, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, near Oak Harbor, WA.
Nikki was born in Midwest City on August 30, 1969, to Wendell W. Smith and Linda Janine Harrell. She graduated McLoud High School in 1987 and continued her education with Rose State Community College and earned an Associates Degree in nursing with Oklahoma State College. She worked a number of years as a Registered Nurse at Baptist Medical Center. She moved to the San Francisco Bay area in California during autumn of 2001 and worked as a nurse at John Muir Medical Center. She moved to Oak Harbor, WA in the summer of 2015. Nikki enjoyed camping, creating jewelry, artistry, crafting and designing.
Nikki is survived by her mother Janine Parsons of Oklahoma City; her father Wendell Smith and step-mother Kathy Smith of Shawnee; a sister Deborah Smith of Oklahoma City and a brother Timothy Smith of WA; also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Services will take place at a later date in Nikki's home state of Oklahoma. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemorial.com.
