Lauren Heinz

(Taken from Lauren's journal. Written 12/2/10) Nellaka, I will always remember your pretty smile. You were a good friend. I will always remember how you always used nice words. You never got angry at your friends, and even if you did, you still used nice words. You were very pretty on the inside and on the outside too. I wish that we could have been in the same class together but I'm thankful we got to be in Daisy's together and that we got to see each other at recess and at Mallory's house. I know Jesus kissed your forehead when you got to heaven just like the girl in my picture in my room. I hope you have fun in heaven. My mom told me that if we asked you if you wanted to come back to earth from heaven that you would say no because you are having so much fun there with God and that you know we'll somehow be OK down here and that you'll see us again someday. She said time is different for you now than it is for us here. She said that 100 years is like the blink of an eye in heaven. I just know that I will miss you until I get to heaven someday and we can play under the rainbows and ride on sharks and lions together. You can ride the sharks since you like them. I'll ride the lions. I will think about you in my dreams. My mom said that sometimes you might visit us in our dreams. I hope so. I am glad that we were friends. I will always remember you. I will miss you. This makes my heart hurt. Please tell Jesus I said hello and hug his neck for me. Love always, your friend, Lauren Heinz (Age 7)
