George Tucker

Janie, I didn't know Mike all that long really. Only for a handful of short years. But in that time, I learned things from Mike that I'll carry with me always. Some of the lessons learned from Mike were on the humorous side, like when he taught me how to sharpen my own chain on my saw. He's asked me, : George, did you know you can sharpen that chain?" "No Mike, I figured I just toss it and put on a new one." The look on his face was priceless! Then the lesson of sharpening began. And he taught me well. My saw is always sharp now and he also saved me a ton of money seeing how I wasn't buying new chains any longer. His sense of humor was enourmous. I remember him calling me one morning to help him with a task. George....are ya busy? No Mike...what's up? Well...I kinda shot this deer and it jumped into the woods and I can't get to it because of my bad knee....will you come help me? Sure Mike....but you know it isn't hunting season don't you? Yeah I know...that's why I need you to hurry! There's many things Mike said to make my day and give me a good hearty chuckle, and I'll miss him dearly, even though I didn't see him often. I will leave you with one thing Janie. Many...MANY...times when Mike and I would be sitting in these woods talking, it never failed that you became part of the conversation. He always talked of how great a woman your are and how lucky a man he was for having you in his life. He loved you very much and told me so on many an occassion. If you ever need anything, call us, we're in the same place. George and Robie Tucker
