Condolence From: Beth Ann (Buell) Milligan
Condolence: Dear Craig & Family,

My hearfelt thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. My memories of Mary Kay go back to Junior High and High School where we had a very close friendship...close enough to skip school together. Her mother wrote her excuse and Mary Kay wrote mine! That is a fond memory but just one of many!! I was honored to be one of Mary Kay's attendants when you all married. She was so beautiful that day! I'll never forget her on your wedding day!

Then we went our different ways in life and lost contact. When you all were home a few years back, I was very happy that you had business with my office and that we were able to visit. Now I will cherish that visit!

God bless you all!

Condolence: Craig & Family - I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Mary Kay. Mary was a great friend in high school and I will always remember the visits we had in the past few years. Mary was a very strong lady and a great example of what a fighter should be. Best wishes - You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Tim Geist
Condolence: To the Family,

Aside from Kay's smile and laugh, when I think of her, I think of her amazing cooking talents and how she used them to minister to others. I was a grateful recipient of this gift of hers through the years!

It encourages me to think of how she passed this on to so many young ladies of the church, both informally, and formally through the cooking classes she taught.

One of the last memories I have of Kay along these lines is walking out of my office not too long ago to see Kay supervising Kali and Alyssa in one of their cake-baking endeavors. I got the feeling that it was kind of like a final test to see if they could officially receive the baton as the next generation of BBCOH cake-makers. I kidded with Kali and Alyssa after Kay's death that Kay must have had enough confidence in them to indeed pass the baton, and to therefore finish her race.

Praying for God's continued grace in your lives, Brother Tim Geist

Condolence: Dear Craig and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The printed word somehow looks so inadequate but the sentiment is truly heartfelt. I have often thought of you over the years and the memory I have of Kay is that of a wonderful, warm and smiling person. Craig, both you and Kay have had a positive influence on my life. I always viewed your family as being strong and devoted to each other. This was powerful for me.
Take care.
Love,
Cherie Oatman

Condolence: What a wonderful message that the Lord gave Tim last night!

I'll always remember Kay for her selflessness and love for the Lord. Her helping me cook that monster of a pot roast and helping me get my cooking and hosting experience in by cooking for Bro. Issa when he was in town for the Missions conference a few years ago. For her humor and warmth as well as the fun we had with the competition of dominoes. For inviting me over for my first Thanksgiving and Christmas here on Whidbey.

When I think of her Proverbs 17:22a comes to my mind "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine". Even when she wasn't well she always seemed to have a reason to smile, rejoicing in the blessings of her Lord. What a fantastic testimony! I'll miss her, but it makes me excited to know that our separation is only for a little while.

May the Lord continue to bless you all through this time. You're in my prayers.

Carolyn
