Lucille was the Most Godly non judgmental Loving person I have ever met. She was a gift to All who came across her path. She was Amazing Mom,Grandmother and friend to All.Being with Lucille is like sitting at the feet of Jesus!!! She never had a unkind word about anyone. She was extremely generous Loving and Kind!!! She had the Most Amazing life of Any 96yr. When she was 95 she went to the gym 5 days a week and walked one mile on the treadmill. Her precious daughter Ruth would pick her up before work and I got the pleasure to take her back home. One day she asked me about a very hard situation I was having in my family.I must have turned 10 shades white and asked how she knew. She said Ruth asked her to pray for my family. I expected her Not to understand and be judgmental but she never was. We had more talks on those trips home from the gym and she gave me encouragement and Peace and Gods Love. I will be forever thankful for those times of Love and encouragement. She also would take the WTA to the senior center where she would lift weights and use their exercise equipment . She also learned to play the piano in her 90s. She was so happy when her grandson David showed up to her first solo piano recital. He was so proud of his grandma and she just beamed when he told her well she did!!! I remember how she braged about the Wonderful job Joe her grandson did when he put on a new roof on her house. How he made sure all the guys didn't hurt any of her plants and how he made sure everything was cleaned up so nice. Oh how she Loved her Grandson Jonathan's daughter Madelyn and Britney who John took into his heart to give her a real dad.She was always so excited to show me some cute little out fit she had got for one of the girls birthday or Christmas. Lucille was just so giving that way. She Always appreciated Jeff ,Ruth's husband for never complaining when Ruth would be home late many nights because she had to stop to help Lucille or just check on her. I remember he was a life savior many times when she needed something worked on with her car when she was still driving. She drove up till she was 94!!!! Even in the last Yr. Ruth made 3 trips to visit or take care of her Mom. One those trips was for 3 weeks Jeff Always supported Ruth when it came to Loving and caring for her Mom!! Her 95th birthday Ruth and I decided we would give her a party and invite some of her friends to it. We thought we might get 25-35 people But we were Blessed with almost 75 people who were almost all Friends. She was Loved by so Many. The Amazing thing about her Life was she had a whole other Life in Virginia!!! Each November she would hop on a plane and stay 3mo. with her Wonderful daughter Sharie and granddaughter Ruth. Oh was she ever Blessed by them!!! She was papered and Loved and taken to plays and out to dinner and had 24hr. care.Ruth and I had a good laugh one day as Ruth shared how the girls would even put on her slippers. They didn't want her to have to bend over. Knowing how she walked a mile, 5 days a week we had to laugh. But Ruth said she could tell how much it meant to her mom to be Loved and papered that it warmed Ruth's heart. She will be Forever in All our hearts!!!
