I first met Kim when she interviewed for the elementary P.E. position at Coupeville Elementary. It wasn't long, and a middle/high P.E. position became available. I didn't stay in touch with Kim after I left Coupeville in '97, but I did stop to pay her a quick visit one day when a return trip led me on the northern side of the Columbia Gorge a few years ago. May her family members and friends continue to recall her strength, courage, and smile; she, no doubt, touched the lives of many. With sincerest condolences,
