The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Keith Sell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Tom Zenner
Condolence: I happened to be going through old photos of when I was in the Marine's and thought I'd look up Keith since we lost contact after completing cryptographic training at Fort Gordon, GA.
I was stunned to see an obituary come up with his name. Seeing his photo confirmed it was him, even after 40 years.
He was my best friend too but oddly I couldn't stand him when we first met. I thought he was a bit of a jerk. As I got to know him he was nothing like that and he grew to be more like a brother.
My wife and I had lived in Vista, CA since 1988 but flew to Seattle February 2017 to see if we would like living in the Port Townsend area. Strange that we were so close at the time he passed. I would really have liked to talk to him about his life since the Marines.

Semper Fi,
Tom

Condolence From: Shawn Kippenhan
Condolence: You were my best friend in high school, and in the Marines. Even though we didn't see each other much after that, you have still been my best friend in my heart. We would have been 60 years old together today, on your birthday. I miss you every day, and sometimes I still have to resist the urge to contact you to say Hi.
