Mrs. Kathy

Well the first time I ever met Kathy was on a night that none of us will soon forget. It is strange how one event can bring so many people together. That night we found comfort in each other and created a bond that was never to be broken. Just two short years latter I had the privilege of working for Kathy as a hostess. Soon I had the privilege of getting to work closer with Kathy and Pam doing catering. Kathy had an eye for making things just right and expecting the best out of us. We always wanted to make her happy and show her that we could do things the right way, Kathy's way. Kathy was like a mother to so many of us girls who worked for her. I remember one time I did something that made her so mad at me that she grabbed my arm and gave me that " mom look." I spun around so fast to yell at her. We both went our separate ways for a bit. When we were finely able to talk she told me how I had reminded her of one of her daughters with the way I glared at her. I told her She gave me that " mom look" that I can't stand. We both smiled at each other and hugged it out. Kathy you will be truly missed. I pray for your family and that they will be comforted at this time. I hope you are having fun in that casino in the sky, win big. I love you!
