Condolence: As I still am in disbelief, I am in the real world and quickly gather my jealous thoughts of "you made it friend" into the arms of our Heavenly Father. I get a smile on my face with a happy tear of how I will miss your stories and your eargerness to His work and to teach our children of His redeeming Love of Salvation. I can hear your voice in my head saying; "well it was nice knowing ya, will be seeing ya". I will miss you Kathy and again it was my honor and priviledge to know you as a sister in Christ. Thank you for teaching me, listening to me and for being the prayer warrior you are. Love and prayers to the Oakland family.

Condolence: Some 65 yrs ago, the Father planted a seed on this earth, not just any seed, but a special seed, that would be solely devoted to Him and His service. A seed that would long to serve Him in every way possible. As this seed grew, it nurtured lives wherever it was transplanted. It produced love, friendship, devotion, desire to do better and to be better, a desire to serve and to make things grow. My wonderful friend, Kathy Oakland, represents this seed. She loved the Father with every fiber of her being and every life she touched is a better life for knowing her. She was a devoted Wife and Mother and a loveing Grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren. She makes me smile when I remember our times together. I was in awe of her relationship with Father and the things He would tell her and show her. I will miss you, my dear friend, I live with the knowledge that I will see you again. My prayers are with the whole family at this time. May God give you His peace and rest and comfort.
