Joan L. Raden  Beardsley
Joan L. Raden Beardsley, of Freeland, longtime former Seattle resident, passed away on December 13, 2015 at the age of 90. She was married to Cassius (Cash) Beardsley who preceded her in death in 1986. She leaves behind three adult children, Gary P. Raden (Amy), Claudia Raden Pettis (Charles), and Mark L. Raden (Tammy). She was also known and loved as Grandma Johnnie (and Grandpa Johnnie by her grandson Mark D Raden) by her grandchildren Gary Paolo Raden (Jennyfer), Thomas S. Raden, Steven G. Raden, Jenna L. Taylor-Raden, Jackson F. Raden, Dawson C. Raden and by Claudia's adopted sons by her husband Bre and Morgan Pettis. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Tristan K. Raden and Aramis A. Raden. She was preceded in death by her grandson Lucien M. Jacob. She leaves behind two beloved nieces Carolyn Echelbarger (Lindsey) and Barbara McCaffrey. She had a big heart for her family and others. Joan was Involved in The Ryther Childcare Center in Seattle for many years and she asked that in lieu of flowers please donate to this organization in Memory of Joan L. Raden Beardsley.
