Condolences

Condolence From: Dave and Vel Kooiman
Condolence: Hi to the Hofkamp Family,
We wish to send our heart felt condolences to you in the loss of your wife and mother and grandmother. Aunt Hilda was always a special aunt to us and we always looked forward to the visits that Uncle bernie and Aunt Hilda would make to Minnesota every summer. There are many memories of games of murder, and bullhead fishing, and just good times spent just sitting around shooting the bull. I wish I could have made it there for the funeral but it was not possible at this time, so maybe at a later date. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come as you make the adjustment to life without a loved one that has been such an important part of your lives.

Take care. Dave and Vel Kooiman

Condolence: Uncle Bernie and family: I just wanted to extend our condolences to you in the loss of Aunt Hilda. I pray that God will send the peace and love that you need at this time. Hearing of Aunt Hilda's passing got me to thinking about times past and the interaction that your family and ours has had over the years and how many great times there were. We always had a great time. Mom and Dad always loved when they could get together with you whether it was them going to Washington or you coming to Minnesota. I know that this will leave an empty spot in your lives now but we must always remember that Aunt Hilda is in a much better place and that someday we can someday join her again and enjoy the great peace and joy that she now has. God bless and keep you in the days ahead. Love. Dean and Betty.

Condolence: We want to send our deepest condolences to Uncle Bernie and Family. The Wife, mother, and grandmother you lost was a wonderful person and example for all. Aunt Hilda was a kind and caring person and her life has left all of us better by knowing her, As a child I can remember the excitement in our house prior to visits from the Hofkamps. Everyone looked forward tho the arrival. I can remember waking in the early hours to hear laughter coming from the dining room table knowing that the "murder" game had come out and Aunt Hilda, Uncle Bernie and my parents were in the middle of one of their games of men vs. the ladies. The laughter never seemed to cease when they were all together. In my undefined Aunt Hilda always knew how to laugh. She had an unmistakable giggle that made made all around here feel good inside. I can not remember hearing her say a bad word about others at any time. Aunt Hilda was a kind, caring, loving person who will be greatly missed by all. Our prayers are with the the entire Hofkamp Family.
