Elane met and married Earl G. Wilbert and moved to Southern California where they lived for many years in both Arcadia and Temple City. Earl and Elane were later divorced but remained good friends and maintained close contact through family reunions and letters.
In 1965 she started working as an accountant at the California State University at Los Angeles. She retired in 1990 and moved to Livingston, Montana. She became proficient in remodeling design and redecorating as she bought and sold several older homes in both Livingston and Bozeman, Montana. This became a passion for her as she developed her talents into an active hobby.

Elane was also blessed to be part of a large family that resulted in 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
The entire Wilbert Family would like to collectively praise the Staff and many friends at Regency, and more specifically to Harbor Care, for their untiring devotion, exemplary professionalism and sincere concern for Elane for the past 6 months.
