I am so blessed, grateful and honored to have known Darryl. Even though I had only known Darryl for a short time after he became ill, he and the Rodman family made such a tremendous impact in my life. I truly enjoyed coming over to the house to spend time with the family. One of my fondest memories of Darryl was when I had taken him outside one day for a walk, and encouraged him to race me to the end of the block and how it would make him smile. Another memory that I truly enjoyed was reading to him and he would get up and move from couch to couch. He will always be such a blessing in my heart and make me smile whenever I think of him. Heaven has just inherited a Great man who left behind a tremendous legacy! :)
