Obituary for Bord Richard "Rick" Langvold

Bord Richard "Rick" Langvold
Bord Richard Langvold, age 63, went home to be with his Lord on February 28, 2017. He passed away peacefully at home. He was born in Seattle on June 24, 1952.
Bord lived for his children, family, many friends and loved ones. He was our
Protector, always looking out for us, teaching us lessons, giving forgiveness, with a willingness to always help others. His great smile, twinkling eyes, and charm was loved by all.
He is survived by his children Kirstin Marie (Paul Tennis, Lilly and Gavin), Bord Erik, Leif Gunnar Langvold and sister Helen Langvold, as well as family in Norway: Tante Bjorg, Cousins Aase, Bjorn, Tor, Rigmor and several others.
His Norwegian Heritage had great meaning to him. "I am a Viking" he always said.
Bord received his pin and plaque for 30 plus years of Outstanding Service with the Washington State Ferry System.
You will be missed but not forgotten.
Memorial Service: Philadelphia Church in Ballard, 7704 – 24th Ave. NW, Seattle, 11:00 AM, March 25, 2017.
