BONNIE BARNUM JAMES
Bonnie Barnum James of Oak Harbor, WA, died on Thursday, March 10, 2011, surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. Bonnie was born to Don and Judy Barnum on September 12, 1958, in Santa Monica, CA. She resided in Davis, CA, for most of her life, where she met the love of her life, Kit James, who preceded her in death in 1999. In 2003 Bonnie moved to Oak Harbor. Bonnie and Kit leave behind three children: Christopher James, 28, of Oak Harbor, Kendra James, 26, of Tacoma and Dylan James, 23, of Oak Harbor. She also has three sisters, Lucinda Childress of Davis, CA, Rebecca Barnum of Bloomington, IN and Tanya Krone of Tooele, UT. In addition, Bonnie leaves her parents, Don and Judy Barnum of Oak Harbor.
Bonnie will be missed by so many. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend. Bonnie was a fantastic cook and her hospitality to others was overflowing. She was a daycare provider while her kids were young, and worked selflessly taking care of others most of her life.
