Condolence: Uncle Morris left two very memorable moments in my life. The the first being when we visted him &Aunt Deborah in Iwakuni, Japan. I remember he took us to a samurai shoin-zukuri near by. I remember we climbed and climbed these steps that seemed to never end. But when we got to the top, there was this awesome shoin-zukuri with the armor of the samurai that lived and ruled there. Uncle Morris knew so much about it it had me cultivated. The second account was years later when he surprised us in Arizona. I get a knock on my door and there stood my dad Earnest and clearly one of my dad's brothers. I remember being so shocked that I said "Uncle Morris? Is that really you?" Still so shocked I forgot to welcome my dad and him in! Uncle Morris had to remind me that they were standing outside. I remember his funniness in that time he and my dad were there. Enjoying being together and being with me. I will not forget those precious moments near and dear to me. To my Aunt Deborah, I cannot imagine all you may be feeling in this season of life. But I am praying for you that God engulfs you with peace and love. To my cousins, there are no words to fill the or deal with what you all may be feeling right now. Just know I am praying and Interceding that you be comforted and strengthened in this season of life. I sorry I wasn't able to make it, but be assured that I love you all to LIFE!
