Obituary for Thomas Robert Bryant

Thomas Robert Bryant
11/8/1961 – 8/1/2021

Thomas Robert Bryant passed away on August 1st, 2021, at age 59 surrounded by his family. He was born November 8th, 1961, in Monroe, Louisiana to Jackson and Isabel Bryant.

Thomas was one of eight children. He graduated with the class of 1979 from John H. Francis Polytechnic High School in Sun Valley, California. He was married for 38 years to Gina Bryant, they raised two children, Nicholas, and Sara.

He was a Journeymen Plumber for over 35 years, working in Southern and Northern California. In 2006, he moved his family to Whidbey Island and started Bryant Plumbing.

Thomas was the most loving father, friend, and mentor. He believed in people, lending an ear to listen when you needed it most–all he’d ask in return was a chance to chat your ear off about his Dallas Cowboys. He loved filling up the Toy’s for Tot’s bin at Sebo’s every December to make sure every kid got a present on Christmas.

Thomas was a secret teddy bear with a heart of gold, but he’d be the first to dish out tough love if you needed it. His family, friends, and colleagues will miss his guidance, support, and generosity.

All are invited to celebrate the life of Thomas Thursday, August 12th, 2021, at 4:00 pm in Freeland Park. Please bring a mask, a chair, and a loving story to share, reminisce, and grieve together.
