My friend Mindy. We met in 1990. I was with a friend, and we stopped at a gas station and she was there with Kodie. My friend knew Kodie, and they asked for a ride home. They hopped in the back of my little red truck, and I proceeded to exit the gas station, and hop the center divider to go the way I wanted without waiting... my friend is like "Dude, she is pregnant". oops... We went there and all hung out, which became a frequent thing to do. Soon I was bringing her to her regular doctor appointments, and was there with her through her first pregnancy. We talked a lot and became very good friends. I was there at Balboa hospital, when her first son, named Kodie after his father, was born. Soon after she told me she was pregnant again and she was moving to Delaware. We stayed in touch, through letters and phone calls. I went to visit in Delaware, and she came and visited me in San Diego (picture attached was from that, she loved Sea World, and in particular Dolphins and the Killer Whales). After a few years she met Joey, and the two of them moved to San Diego, and we started hanging out again, myself and my wife, and her and her husband. She moved again, but we managed to stay in touch, through calls, and later social media. She had such a crazy life, but I was happy to have been apart of it, and see and hear about all of the things that happened.

One of my favorites, last year just a girls night painting and chatting. We painted much slower than the rest of class and kinda fell behind painting in our own little world but it was such a fun experience❤️
