Obituary for Leon Sumner Hockett

Leon Sumner  Hockett
Leon S. Hockett went to be with the Lord on October 11,2018. Born in Sedro Woolley,Wa. on August 31, 1942 and lived there and Concrete, Wa. most of his life.
He was a loving husband, kind, generous and thoughtful friend and family man. He enjoyed fishing and was a faithful Seahawks and Mariners fan. A man of hardworking character, he drove log trucks for over 40 years. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Jan, making many wonderful friends along the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sumner and Florence Hockett, brother: Orville Hockett. Survived by his wife, Jan Hockett, two sons: Craig & wife-Becky Hockett of Sedro Woolley, Mike & wife, Melissa Hockett, Concrete, Wa. and Three stepdaughters: Jacqueline & Mike Hall of South Carolina, Jami & Ed Rogge, Sedro Woolley, Wa. Teri & Michael Nicholas,Ca., eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also, one sister, Ardath & Bob Hasselgesser, and several extended family members.
