Newspapers

I delivered newspapers to his house on a couple of different routes in the early 80's. He was always kind and nice when I showed up, even to the store once or twice to collect at his recommendation. He perferred the paper delivered to the paperbox at the garage door next to the in-ground garbage can, which I had never seen before. His driveway was the best to ride into and deliver the paper! Eventually, I bought two class rings from him and other things he offered in addition to having repairs on jewelry. His family has carried on very well and have treated me well when I have stopped in while back in OH. He was a true OH icon and will be missed.
