Rose Wheeler of Campbellsville, KY, was born September 20, 1921 in Oak Harbor, WA to the late Claude and Minnie Johnson and departed this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Campbellsville at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 101 years of age.
She was a former appliance store owner and operator and was of the Christian faith. Rose enjoyed playing card, arts and crafts, camping, rock hounding and boating near the San Juan Island. She united in marriage to Fred Wheeler, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters: Wes, Ike, Boyd, Cliff, Mildred, Aletha, John, Marie, Doris and Vern. Survivors include her children: Mark Wheeler and wife Pam of Hayden, ID, Pam Medgard and husband Harley of Summersville, KY, Don Wheeler and wife Irmel of Tucson, AZ and Perry Wheeler and wife Chris of Anacortes, WA; also, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a sister Doris and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
