Obituary for Eric Raymond Reynolds

Eric Raymond Reynolds went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Nov. 13, 2019. Eric was born in Ukiah, CA on Dec. 17, 1964 to Raymond Reynolds and Meredyth Witson Reynolds. He was born the youngest of four of children, and then became the middle child of a blended family. With that came all of the challenges that one could imagine. He was active in Boy Scouts, and was nationally recognized, at the age of 12, for rescuing his toddler sister, who had drowned in a swimming pool.

He grew to be a man of many skills: carpentry, auto mechanics, ranching, and care-taking. But his greatest love was working with animals. He spent a good portion of his life caring for rescues of all sorts. Eric had a tender heart for all things that had been abused or neglected. His giving heart led him to being active in the local community as an advocate for the homeless, as he served in organizations that cared for those in need.

Eric's life was far from an easy one, but he found peace in the Pacific Northwest and even found genuine love.
In spite of a life of disruption, illness, and injury, Eric always managed to maintain a superior sense of humor and was a stranger to no one. Eric will always be remembered as a whole-heartedly loving, caring, and forgiving man.
