Obituary for Christine Danielle Boe

Christine Danielle Boe
1/9/1986 – 4/7/2021

Christine Danielle Boe passed away unexpectedly on April 7th at home with loved ones at her side.
Christine was born on January 9, 1986, in Kirkland, WA to Mark Alan Boe and Kimberly (Boe) Stratton.

Christine loved life and the people she knew as friends. On many days she extended a helping hand to those who asked and to many who did not. She found the best in their ways and did the best to help them when she could. Her beautiful red hair reflected her personality with the fairness and temper of a sincere friend. Chris loved her children and encouraged them to use their minds to excel in the interests that led them. Christine loved spending time out in nature or quiet moments alone.

She enjoyed beach combing and camping and the simplicity of stories and smores around the campfire. She was enthralled with the littlest gems and trinkets found in the sand. Her love for animals was clearly evident when the neighborhood cat often found refuge at her house. But of all Christine’s attributes, she was a lover. As she loved life, she wanted to be loved. She will always be remembered as a loving and giving mother.

Christine is survived by her Grandfather, Robert Osrowske, her Mother, Kimberly Stratton, Brothers; Colin Boe, Brian Bauer, and Sean Stratton, her Husband (separated) Christopher York and their daughter Anabelle York, her son Jacob Boe, and significant other, Dave Jacobs, nephews, Michael Boe and Robert Boe, niece, Emma Boe and Aunt and Uncle, Karen, and Kelly Schultz.

Letting Go

I would have loved to see my Daughter grow old,
to see her red hair, change to gold,
to see wisdom shining in her eyes,
her nature true and bold.
But an angel came by suddenly and took her life away,
erasing all her future chapters waiting to unfold.
Time spent, footprints no more, reality turned clay cold.

My thoughts like gems are rolling in the sea,
waves of emotion crashing in, grief it calls for me.
Melodies seem out of reach, my mind it ebbs again.
Little treasures stored in the heart; this is not the end.
Her spirit soars in heaven now, her heart is full and free.
I will always love my Daughter and miss her infinitely.
