CHERYL DARLENE WOODSON
Cheryl Darlene Woodson, age 44, of Oak Harbor, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014, following a brief illness.
Cheryl was born in Portland, OR on November 1, 1969, to Dale and Darlene (Hargis) Curtis. Her father was in the Navy, and so the family moved to a variety of places, including San Diego, CA and Virginia Beach, VA. Cheryl graduated from Sierra High School in San Diego. After a time in Fallon, NV, Cheryl moved with her family to Oak Harbor, where she met and married Joel Woodson. She enjoyed drawing, writing and singing.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Andrew Curtis and Sheridan Woodson, both of Oak Harbor; her mother Darlene Curtis of Oak Harbor; her siblings, James Curtis (Bridgette), Megan Collins (Kevin) and Joshua Curtis (Brenda), all of Oak Harbor; her grandmother, Alma Hargis of Fort Worth, TX; her nieces and nephews, Kayla, Bradon, Jayden, Izzy, Gabriel, Brendin, Lyric, Jacob and Ethan; also, numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by one nephew, Jericho and one niece, Sammy.
