Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alvin Chochon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Our Parker Road Pal

We moved from Eugene to Whidbey one year after Al and Joan arrived on the island.  Al was the first neigbor we met on Parker Road.  The Chochons were building a home up the road from where we were about to begin the building process. Our realtor gave us Al's phone number and suggested we call him and ask for a tour of his almost completed home.  We did this and Al took us through his house. This started the amazing neighborhood and friendship bonds that we have had for the past ten years!!

Al has been a treasured and trusted friend.  The twinkle in his eye and his sense of humor have always been welcomed !

We have had numerous neighborhood gatherings and other adventures with Al and Joan.  Losing Al will be a deep loss for both Jack and I.  We loved the "Nebraska Al" and will miss him ever so much!
